The (USA) Director, UX Design leads the development and execution of user experience strategies that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction. This role involves managing cross-functional partnerships, conducting comprehensive user research, and driving continuous improvement in design processes. The Director ensures alignment of UX initiatives with business objectives while fostering collaboration across teams. By leveraging data-driven insights and emerging trends, this position shapes innovative, user-centered solutions that support Walmart's commitment to delivering exceptional digital experiences and operational excellence.
About the team:

The team develops innovative products that enable the merchandising group to curate localized assortments efficiently and competitively, enhancing customer convenience and value. They apply user experience design principles, conduct comprehensive user research, and engage stakeholders to align strategies with business objectives. Focused on continuous improvement, the team uses data-driven insights to optimize interaction designs and deliver seamless solutions. Collaboration across functions ensures scalable, user-centered products that address evolving market needs while upholding high standards of quality and performance.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 6 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 8 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
3 years' supervisory experience.
