Nurse Practitioner (NP) or
PhysicianAssistant (PA) to join our dynamic team.
- Team Composition: Join two experienced Urologists with over 25 years of combined expertise.
- Support & Collaboration: Opportunity to learn from skilled colleagues or bring your current skillset to a collaborative environment.
- Call Schedule: 1:5 shared call rotation with an affiliated two-physician group in Kinston, NC.
- Hospital Coverage:
Primary hospital: UNC Health Wayne (formerly Wayne Memorial Hospital)
Additional call coverage: UNC Health Lenoir in Kinston, NC
- Clinic Location: About one mile from UNC Health Wayne
- Support System: Skillful clinical and administrative staff
- Hospitalist Support: In-house hospitalist service available
Candidate Requirements:
- Licensed NP or PA in the state of North Carolina (or eligible)
- Interest or experience in Urology preferred
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!

Education Requirements:• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Professional Experience Requirements:• No prior experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:• Demonstrated clinical competency.
• Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
• Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
• Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
