- Diagnosis and Treatment: Based on their assessment, PAs diagnose common acute medical conditions such as minor injuries, infections, or illnesses. They develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures like suturing wounds or splinting fractures.
- Patient Assessment: PAs conduct initial patient assessments, taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering necessary diagnostic tests such as X-rays or laboratory tests.
- Patient Education: PAs educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. They may provide instructions on medication usage, wound care, and follow-up care.
Qualifications:- Graduation from an accredited PA/NP program.
- Obtain a NYS license
- Loves the outdoor and willing to live in rural NY
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in Urgent Care
