Role Summary

This position requires significant attention to detail, as well as constant communication with internal team members. The successful candidate is proactive, creative, and organized. Strong communication skills (written and oral), can work concurrently on multiple projects, works well with others, and learns quickly are other key attributes. Do you find yourself always wanting to learn more about the entire business process, not just a small part? Do you like providing every department with the reports and data needed to make critical decisions? If so, this could be the role for you.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage team of administrators and developers - combined off-shore and on-shore
  • Provide ongoing support to reporting users across all departments, including off-hours and holidays by setting up an on-call rotation amongst the team members and manager.
  • Prioritizing work of each member and representing the group in larger meetings
  • Develop documentation, QA and JIRA workflow practices for the team
  • Conduct requirements definition meetings and support Brands with recommendations
  • Coordinate with business intelligence vendors and consultants
  • Communicate project updates and status throughout the lifecycle of a project

  • Prior experience leading Business Intelligence or Reporting Teams

Job Skills
  • Several years' experience developing in Strategy or Qlik Sense / Cloud
  • Ability to write SQL queries and read data engineering workflows / data models
  • Strong experience with data lineage tooling like Atlan
  • Experience with Snowflake Semantic Views or Strategy Mosaic to support LLM ingestion
  • Any prior retail experience preferred
  • Education - Bachelor's Degree in fields related to retail business, data analytics, marketing analytics or quantitative business analysis or relevant work experience
