Full Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Regional Director of SoCal will serve as a regional liaison to the Vice Presidents of Sales, Fitness and EVP of Operations, and oversee sales, fitness and operations execution through standardizing processes, training and accountability across all SoCal Managed Clubs. Will create alignment from the field to the Corporate team by working with department heads to ensure information is presented effectively to the field. Ensure a positive employee and customer experience through weekly calls, communication, and leadership training and development. Will work closely with cross functional leaders and General Managers and be actively involved with leading and driving sales, fitness, and operational excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales

  • Drive sales execution by coaching General Managers on key performance metrics, accountability, and financial results.
  • Lead sales training to improve lead generation, appointments, guest conversions, and membership sales.
  • Ensure clubs achieve monthly goals for new memberships, EFT, and personal training sales.
  • Lead accountability meetings and align promotions, pricing, and sales strategies across clubs.
  • Partner with senior leadership on talent development, succession planning, and personnel decisions.

Fitness

  • Lead fitness operations by coaching managers on training, onboarding, leadership, and performance expectations.
  • Oversee private coaching sales, fitness program performance, and operational metrics.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain fitness managers, coaches, and instructors.
  • Ensure program quality, curriculum compliance, and consistent member experience.
  • Partner with executive leadership on accountability, succession planning, and personnel decisions.

Operations

  • Oversee club operations, ensuring consistent execution, budget compliance, and exceptional member experience.
  • Lead operational teams, including maintenance, janitorial, kids club, and front-of-house support.
  • Ensure successful presales, new club openings, payroll accuracy, and facility standards.
  • Drive operational efficiency through quality control, inventory management, and loss prevention.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain leaders while partnering with senior leadership on succession planning and personnel.


ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS: The Regional Director of SoCal will be responsible for delivering results by exceeding revenue targets and providing direction and leadership to the General Managers, Fitness Managers and Operations Managers in the company reporting directly to the VP, Sales, VP, Fitness and EVP, Operations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of UFC GYM
• Ability to train and educate new and existing managers on a variety of strategies
• Excellent and proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide array of people
• Proven ability to self-manage, quickly assess situations, offer guidance and persuade through coaching.
• Strong relationship focus and positive collaborative attitude.
• Ability to mentor and train development associates and collaborate with internal leaders.
• A self-starter who needs little direction; is highly self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong track record of implementing and executing tactics to achieve key strategic initiatives.
• Results oriented and achievement motivated.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Possess a working knowledge of the DotFIT, ABC, Datatrak, and fitness equipment and programs.
• Background in fitness industry and affinity for health and wellness preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to domestic/local clubs, trainings and meetings.

2) Minimum certifications/educational level:
• College Degree preferred

3) Minimum experience:
• 5+ years of experience in increasingly senior leadership roles within a fitness club
• Prefer multi-club operator experience

4) Physical Requirements:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for up to 8 hours. The employee occasionally sits, walks, kneels, and reaches with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 45 lbs.
• The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud
• Must be willing to relocate or reside in Northern California
