DescriptionThe RoleThe Treasury Manager will own FreshDirect's cash and liquidity management, banking relationships, and financing strategy, ensuring the company has ready access to credit when needed and that excess cash is put to productive use. This role is critical to protecting the company's financial flexibility and working capital efficiency, partnering closely with the CFO and Finance leadership.
What You'll Do- Monitor and manage the company's daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow and overall liquidity position
- Build and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure credit lines, revolving credit facilities, and alternative financing
- Source and negotiate credit/financing on favorable terms whenever the company needs capital
- Identify and deploy idle cash into appropriate short-term investment instruments (deposits, money market funds, treasury bills, etc.)
- Monitor interest rate and FX exposure, and recommend hedging strategies where appropriate
- Develop and maintain cash management policies, procedures, and controls
- Prepare and present regular treasury reports to the CFO and senior leadership (cash position, credit utilization, investment returns)
- Partner with FP&A and Accounting on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning from a treasury perspective
- Ensure treasury operations comply with internal controls and relevant regulatory requirements
What You'll Bring- 5-7+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master's, CFA, or CTP a plus)
- Proven, established network with banks and financial institutions, with a track record of securing credit and financing
- Strong knowledge of cash management, short-term investment instruments, and corporate financing structures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel/financial modeling ability
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with ERP/treasury management systems (e.g., SAP, Kyriba) a plus
Salary$140,000 - $150,000
