3-5 years of experience in an accounting department of a private or public corporation
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Treasury and Fixed Asset Manager to join our team in Raleigh NC. The ideal candidate will assist and manage the day-to-day treasury functions that are required to meet the financial obligations of the organization as well as oversee and manage the day-to-day fixed asset accounting functions, including supervision of fixed asset processes, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with organizational policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manages team of Accountants responsible for reconciling and maintaining bank related account reconciliations and fixed assets.
Ensures that financial records are kept in accordance with GAAP and all appropriate records are retained and Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts
Performs analysis of assigned accounts to ensure all entries are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and theories
Accurately and timely prepares all month end entries for assigned accounts and manages the monthly bank reconciliation process using Cadency software
Ensures that all unreconciled and unmatched differences on bank statements are investigated timely and that all daily deposit discrepancies are communicated to the store and followed up on timely
Ensures that all cash activity is booked to the general ledger timely and accurately
Ensures successful integration of Acquisitions into the company's cash management program and reconciliation software
Ensures all cash related activities impacted by store closures, store moves and store mergers are updated and handled timely
Manages the opening and closing of bank accounts and partner with internal and external IT resources to insure proper flow of banking data into bank reconciliation software
Ensures that all wire and ACH payments are entered accurately and on the designated date
Oversees the complete lifecycle of fixed assets, including acquisition, capitalization, transfer, maintenance, depreciation, and disposal
Ensures the monthly fixed asset rollforward is prepared and that the balances and activity agrees to transaction detail and general ledger
Assists with capital expenditure tracking and reporting, including supporting management in forecasting depreciation
Coordinates with IT and Operations on fixed asset audits to ensure accurate records and supporting documentation
Assists external auditors by providing asset documentation, reconciliations, and supporting analyses
Supports various projects as identified or assigned by management
Qualifications & Education Requirements
Previous experience within an accounting department within a private or publicly held corporation with 3-5 Years of related experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
May be required to work weekend and overtime to ensure established deadlines are met. Expected hours per week are 40-45
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting theories, principles, methods, practices, terminology, and record keeping
Basic understanding of the business operations and correlation between business operations and treasury/accounting function
Excellent organizational and planning skills along with good judgment, motivation and communication skills
Strong knowledge of financial and accounting software applications, including proficient use of Excel
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and ability to handle confidential information accordingly
Must meet established deadlines, work well under pressure, and have good time management
