Posting: Traveling Superintendent

Join Innovative Construction, Inc.

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do
  • Lead all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout.
  • Supervise subcontractors, field personnel, and daily job site operations.
  • Maintain project schedules, including mandatory three-week look-ahead planning.
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders to ensure quality execution.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings, coordinate subcontractors, and resolve field issues.
  • Monitor quality, productivity, site logistics, material deliveries, and code compliance.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, and project documentation.
  • Partner closely with the Project Manager to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent or field leader in commercial construction.
  • Hospitality renovation and occupied-space construction experience is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction methods, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is preferred.
