Project Manager - Industrial

Location: Full-time travel role supporting projects nationwide.

Position Description:

We are looking for a Traveling Project Manager to join our team. This role is focused on delivering complex industrial projects, including manufacturing and food & beverage facilities, as well as mission-critical data centers from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful execution in terms of budget, schedule, and quality. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can guide cross-functional teams, build strong client relationships, and drive accountability across all phases of the project.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the direction, execution, and financial performance of assigned construction projects
  • Build and mentor strong, motivated project teams while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage all project costs, forecasting, pay applications, and profitability strategies
  • Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules; communicate milestones to all partners
  • Lead change order processes, subcontractor buyouts, and contract execution according to established timelines
  • Proactively identify project risks and provide creative, client-focused solutions
  • Maintain and update site logistics and build plans to meet constructability and performance goals
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are upheld in alignment with PARIC and OSHA guidelines
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, owners, and project partners to ensure satisfaction and success
  • Mentor and support professional development of direct reports
  • Other duties as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of contract terms, cost management, scheduling, and construction processes
  • Proficiency with project management software and job cost forecasting tools
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred:
  • Proven ability to resolve complex project challenges creatively
  • Experience with subcontractor negotiation and dispute resolution
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and BIM tools
