Key Responsibilities:- Crew Leadership: Lead small crews of 2-8 electricians, providing clear daily instruction, guidance, and training.
- Project Execution: Install, layout, and troubleshoot various electrical systems, switchgear, conduits, cable trays, heat tracing, and freeze protection systems.
- Testing & Diagnostics: Conduct functional tests on new systems, inspect electrical components to diagnose issues, and perform updates or repairs on legacy systems.
- Technical Support: Assist with pre-installation planning by designing technical solutions; interpret blue prints, site maps, drawings, and one-lines.
- System Installation: Set up and pull conductors, install grounding systems, perform CAD welding, and manage lighting circuits (120v-480v).
- Communication: Provide clear, prompt daily updates to Project Managers, customers, and field team members.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all corporate, customer, and OSHA safety regulations, ensuring systems meet all applicable local, state, and federal codes.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Licensing & Experience: Must be a Licensed Electrician with proven experience as a Lead or Foreman in commercial and/or industrial environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with trade testing instruments (voltmeters, ammeters, meggers) and the operation of large tools (threading, hydraulic bending, and tugging equipment).
- Safety Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70E standards and proper ARC flash PPE.
- Certifications: Certified to operate boom and scissor lifts, with the ability to work comfortably at heights.
- Tools & Transport: Must possess basic hand tools, personal PPE, and a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Travel Flexibility: 100% comfortable working on the road full-time and operating unsupervised or with teams of 4-20 electricians.
- Screening: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI within the last 3 years); must pass a background check and drug screening.
$45 - $55 an hour
