Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Transportation Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team. This role involves designing and managing roadway projects, ensuring compliance with state and local standards, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver successful infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roadway design, project management, and experience working on transportation projects, including familiarity with DOT requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Roadway Design: Develop roadway designs and layouts using industry-standard software (e.g., InRoads, ORD, MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D) in accordance with state and local guidelines.
Project Management: Lead roadway projects from conception through completion, ensuring that schedules, budgets, and client expectations are met.
Plan Preparation: Prepare construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates for roadway and transportation projects.
Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with other disciplines, including traffic, structural, and drainage teams, to ensure integrated project delivery.
