Job Summary

Your Career

As a Cortex Transformation Engineer, you are a critical part of the Global Transformation Practice, ensuring our enterprise customers undergo a flawless migration and security operations transformation to modern platforms.
Operating within a synchronized global model, you will own the end-to-end customer transition lifecycle, compressed into a high-velocity sprint. You will combine deep technical engineering acumen with exceptional customer-facing delivery to execute data cutovers, lead immersive operational workshops, and demonstrate quantifiable business value to customer security leadership.

Your Impact
  • Technical Migration & Integration: Execute the technical migration of customer environments from legacy to modern platforms. Own policy mappings, data retention configurations, API setups, and log ingestion validations against Palo Alto Networks "Golden Standard" design templates.
  • Operationalization & DITL Delivery: Bridge the gap between implementation and true platform adoption by running practitioner-focused "Day in the Life" (DITL) workshops. Educate customer teams on native platform workflows, alert triage, incident response, Agentic-AI and automated playbooks using both 1-on-1 and cohort-based delivery models.
  • Value Realization Executive Cadence: Lead highly structured Value Realization sessions with customer technical stakeholders. Leverage native platform dashboards to mathematically demonstrate ROI, security efficacy and operational efficiency to secure formal project sign-off and customer delight.


Qualifications

Your Experience
  • Professional-level technical acumen with security operations infrastructure, cloud migrations, or technical consulting.
  • Hands-on expertise with the Palo Alto Networks portfolio (Cortex XDR/XSIAM, Prisma Cloud, or Strata) or direct competitive migration experience.
  • Strong technical background in security automation, including execution of CLI scripting, Python, and REST APIs for bulk policy configuration and data modeling.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication skills with a proven ability to run technical workshops and maintain strong executive presence.
  • A "scale mindset" with a focus on using artificial intelligence and automation, developing reusable playbook concepts, and authoring technical documentation.


Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
