Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease agreements.
- Handle acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate assets.
- Prepare and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, amendments, estoppel certificates, SNDAs, and other transaction-related documents.
- Manage commercial real estate transactions from Letter of Intent (LOI) through closing.
- Conduct legal due diligence and identify potential transactional risks.
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful closings.
- Provide practical legal advice and strategic guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
Required Qualifications:- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the State of Texas.
- 3-6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases.
- Experience handling acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate.
- Proficiency in preparing and negotiating:
- Purchase and Sale Agreements
- Lease Amendments
- Estoppel Certificates
- Subordination, Non-Disturbance, and Attornment Agreements (SNDAs)
- Closing Documents
- Ability to independently manage the full transaction lifecycle.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with industrial, office, medical office building (MOB), or healthcare-related real estate transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Experience working in a collaborative law firm environment.
