Traffic Engineer
Responsibilities:
Traffic Modeling and Capacity Analysis using one or more of HCS, SYNCHRO, VISSIM, SIDRA, TRANSCAD and TRANSMODELER software for corridor analysis, interchange, and intersection level of service and operational delays.
Assist in conducting Traffic Impact Analysis, Traffic Signal Warrant Analysis and similar traffic studies and prepare reports.
Assist in preparing designs and development of traffic control plans, signing/pavement markings, and traffic signal plans.
Prepare/Review traffic engineering studies and designs efficiently and cost-effectively to obtain client acceptance.
Assist in preparations of final design documents (Plans, Specifications, and Estimates) associated with traffic signal installations, signing and striping layout, and temporary traffic control/detour/staging plans.
Coordinate work with engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements
