Role Description

Form Energy is hiring a Project Manager to drive custom manufacturing equipment and assembly line utility/equipment installations. This role reports to our Senior Manager of Tool Installation. As part of our Form Factory 1 team, you will contribute to bringing our first factory manufacturing lines into production in partnership with Engineering, Operations and Construction teams. What you'll do:
  • Assess technical requirements for equipment installation, including specifications, drawings, and technical documentation as well as provide technical guidance to the installation team and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the installation process.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, spend tracking, contractor scope of work, installation manuals, spare parts inventory, and as-built drawings.
  • Provide and present regular project status updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Support execution of in the field activities that include but are not limited to layout, rigging, electrical, mechanical installation.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure timely availability of equipment and materials required for installation.


What you'll bring:
  • 4+ years of experience in equipment design, installation and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in scheduling, developing scope of work (SOW), and organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in contractor management, technical trades and custom manufacturing equipment installations.
  • Ability to operate within standard computer management softwares (Procore, maintainX, JIRA, etc) as well as CAD.
  • Ability to move objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Where you'll work:

This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV-an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing. Relocation assistance is available.
