Standard Job DescriptionTHE WORKThe Global Sustainment (GS) Training, Logistics, and Simulation (TLS) F-35 Operations Senior Manager leads the execution and the daily operations of F-35 pilot & maintenance instruction, as well as training device maintenance and upgrades across all domestic and international training locations. This position also leads the Support Equipment (SE) Field Service Support and Pilot Fit teams, operating at customer sites across the enterprise.
This role will partner with the F-35 TLS cross-functional leadership team, ensuring all program and customer requirements, sustainment deliverables, and support services, meet/exceed expected performance outcomes. The successful candidate will execute in alignment with the RMS, TLS and GS strategies, driving performance across all Perform, Transform, and Grow focus areas.
The GS F-35 Operations Senior Manager ensures Program Management and customer satisfaction through on-time delivery of required sustainment deliverables and support services at the best value to the government; develop and implement the appropriate product support solutions to ensure achievement of desired performance outcomes.
Basic Qualifications- Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leader-strong oral & written communication skills, above-average organizational skills, and demonstrated leadership traits
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Ability to establish positive relationships with various customers, teammates, subcontractors and employees/co-workers.
- Experience with planning, development and integration of complex systems;
- Successful coordination with multi-functional teams, including customer and external partners
- Must be able to travel (domestic and international) at least 25%
- Have active Secret clearance and be able to qualify and hold an SAP clearance
Desired Skills- Domain Knowledge of Sustainment capabilities & solutions
- Familiarity with the F35 Training, Logistics & Simulation enterprise, including functional support and execution
- Program Manager experience overseeing P&L responsibility and strong execution
- Experience managing operations personnel to support mission readiness at dedicated training and operational installations.
- Experience working in environments that require interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel from varied backgrounds.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and working with virtual teams and customers
- Prior experience working with a represented workforce
Pay InformationGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $198400.00 - $368400.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $178500.00 - $331500.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $158700.00 - $294700.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $142800.00 - $265200.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
