Responsibilities
About the Team: Global E-Commerce's Governance and Experience (GNE) team keeps the marketplace safe and trustworthy for buyers, sellers, and creators alike. Within GNE, the Content & Creator Governance team builds a trusted, high-quality content ecosystem - setting global policies and standards for content integrity, creator compliance, and brand safety while enabling creativity. Key Responsibilities - Define and evolve governance strategies for TikTok Shop's creator ecosystem, covering areas such as creator conduct, content tiering, incentive abuse, misleading promotion, and ecosystem integrity. - Build and refine signals, metrics, and risk prioritization to detect and address violative creators and abusive content trends. - Partner with Policy, Operations, Data Science, Legal, and other Gov domain teams to design end-to-end governance solutions, from risk identification to enforcement, appeals, and continuous improvement. - Establish clear operating mechanisms, escalation paths, and success metrics to improve governance consistency and cross-functional alignment. - Serve as a thought partner to business and governance leaders on creator ecosystem health, long-term risk prevention, and scalable policy implementation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above. - Proven experience in e-commerce governance, trust & safety, content/platform integrity, or risk management. - People-management experience leading and developing a team. - Strong data-analysis skills (SQL or equivalent preferred) and structured problem-solving - Ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams, including executive stakeholders. - Strong business judgment with the ability to translate product, policy, and data insights into strategic decisions. Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with creator/seller governance, moderation strategy, or enforcement systems. - Familiarity with major e-commerce regulations across markets. - Demonstrated past success working in a matrix environment and ability to influence key stakeholders. - Strong understanding of US health-related regulatory and compliance landscape.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $189800 - $360000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
