Tier 3 MLOPs Engineer
The Opportunity:

As a Tier 3 MLOps Engineer on our team, you will work with a collaborative Agile development team to manage Tier 3 incidents and help build and maintain Cloud software and infrastructure that supports machine learning and AI across our program. This is an opportunity to broaden your skill set into areas such as Agile development, Cloud-based development, and building internal knowledge base articles and escalation paths for operational triage, while troubleshooting software for national security. As a machine learning Tier 3 engineer, you'll identify solutions for complex problems and help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in generative AI concepts and technologies such as Claude, GPT, and Gemini

• 2+ years of experience working in a system administrations operations environment

• 2+ years of experience in working with Tier II and Tier III support and handling the incident management workflow

• 2+ years of experience working with test and evaluation

• Knowledge of the ML lifecycle and concepts to develop an MLOps ecosystem

• Ability to translate between technical and non-technical users and developers

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in a system administrations operations environment

• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within 6 months of hire date

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Python, AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC tools like Helm and Terraform

• Experience developing prompts, tools, and agents with LLMs

• Experience with design and implementation, including building, containerizing, and deploying end-to-end automated data and ML pipelines, within a Cloud environment

• Experience with version control tools, including Git
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
