Job Description**An updated resume is required for consideration**Total Industrial Engineer Core Responsibilities- Champion the implementation of Toyota Production System (TPS) principles throughout the manufacturing plant to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by conducting time studies and process observations to identify productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction opportunities.
- Analyze manual and automated assembly processes to optimize labor utilization, equipment performance, workflow design, and manufacturing throughput.
- Develop standardized work procedures, production balancing strategies, and takt-time-based manufacturing processes to support operational excellence objectives.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve production and conveyance systems to reduce lead time, eliminate waste, and enhance operational performance.
- Create visual management systems and production controls that enable rapid identification of process abnormalities, bottlenecks, and performance gaps.
- Utilize TPS tools, including creating Material and Information Flow Diagrams (MIFDs), implementing kaizen, applying problem-solving methodologies, and conducting root cause analysis to drive sustainable process improvements.
- Partner with Production, Logistics, Process Engineering, and Logistics Engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement projects that support plant objectives.
- Analyze manufacturing data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and recommend corrective actions.
- Support new product introductions, equipment installations, and process changes by evaluating impacts on workflow, labor requirements, material flow, and production capacity.
- Facilitate employee training and coaching on TPS principles and continuous improvement practices to foster a culture of manufacturing excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 0-5 years in Industrial Engineering and or similar Engineering role.
- Analytical & troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products (primarily Excel and Power Point).
