Full Job Description
Job Description: • Perform general supervision, implementing, maintaining and scheduling workloads and event-based processes. • Perform analysis, design and implementation of batch processing workflows using Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler. • Responsible for implementing job streams with complex dependencies and managing complex calendar schedules using the Tidal Enterprise Scheduler. • Oversee all operational activities for enterprise system applications in scope, meeting required deadlines. • Good knowledge on administration, creation and maintenance of calendars, review and implementation of all IT job processing, optimization of job schedules, monitoring and reporting, as well as analysis of job failures. • Responsible for overseeing the restart and rerun of all production jobs, creating and maintaining accurate documentation, including all job dependencies, and the development and maintenance of standard operation procedures. • Understands the business requirements and structures plans, processes, and procedures to address customer requests quickly and effectively within audit guidelines • Escalates problems as necessary and provides timely status until transferred or resolved. • Assist in developing or improving batch operations best practices. • Responsible for the organization of workloads in the operational environment. • Understand impact of changes to job processing and adjust schedules modifying as necessary for scheduled maintenance, etc. • Monitor and respond to alarms, assess impact, troubleshoot and resolve problems. Escalate to subject matter experts when required, utilizing established guide. • Responsible for changes to IT production environments, managing change control documentation as changes are made, manage the change control meetings and communicate changes to IT services and business users who are impacted. Document all changes. Minimum Requirements: • 5 years of IT job scheduling experience using Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler. • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. • Ability to work with people in varied organizational relationships. • Demonstrated ability to work in an ever-changing environment with efficiency and accuracy. • Must be available for on call responsibilities. • Flexibility in work schedule is required including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needs require.
