WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As the Thermal Mechanical EngineeringTeam Lead, you will leadateamofskilleddesign engineersresponsible forDirect Liquid Cooling products, ensuring technical excellence andtimelyprojectexecution. You will manageteam workload,supporttechnicaldevelopment, andcollaboratewith industry partners to drive continuous improvement andadoptbest-in-classtechnologies.As a functional team leader, your successwill be measured by your teams ability to perform effectively and achieve its goals.You will also foster a team culture that attracts, develops, andretainstop industry talent.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the technical designprocessused forDirect Liquid Cooling products, ensuringtheproduct developmentworkflowremainscompetitiveand enablesthe team to achieveprojecttargets.
  • Manage the team's workload, prioritize tasks, and delegate effectively, while also focusing on building the team's technical knowledge, supporting career growth, and managing performance.
  • Collaboratewithexternal parties, includingindustry partners, customers, consultants,and criticalcomponentsuppliers,tosupport technical decision-making,continuous improvement,andadoption of best-in-class technologywithout diluting Engineerings ownership of design standards, processes, and workflows.
  • Work with other departments to define clear cross-functional roles, responsibilities, decision boundaries, and escalation paths for product development activities that involve Engineering.
  • Act as the Engineering teams point of contact and decision maker for design standards, engineering processes, and team workflows, ensuring these practices are clearly communicated, consistently applied, and aligned with cross-departmental needs.

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimumbachelors degree in mechanical engineeringor similar Engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum of5years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of thermal design and fluid dynamics concepts.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical design and engineering, including mechanism analysis,GD&T, FEA, DFM, DFMEA, PLM,thermal simulation,testingand validation.
  • Strong understanding of the New Product Introduction process, with proven experience managing hardware development through the full product lifecycle from concept, prototyping, verification, validation, and production transfer through to mass production.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of people management and/or technical leadership experience (managing or supervising engineering teams).
  • Experience with high-volume production for industrial products.
  • PossessP.Engdesignation or similar professional credentials.

Skills:

  • Strong CAD design skills.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to align Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and external parties on design requirements, process expectations, and product development deliverables.
  • Ability to oversee the design of complex mechanical componentsand assemblies.
  • Capacity to manage team workload, prioritize, and delegate tasks.
  • Ability to coordinate with external parties whilerepresentingEngineerings decisions on design standards, development processes, and workflow expectations.
  • Proven ability tomanageand executedepartmental plans and budgetsspending.
  • Capability to lead cross-departmental product development initiatives and drive alignment from early concept definition through design release, production readiness, and mass production support.
