Description
We are currently looking for a Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our team for a Urban Rail Transit Infrastructure Project between Maryland and Washington DC, USA.
-Estimated duration of the position: 1 year - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee on other projects to give him/her continuity.
-Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate and execute static, dynamic and integrated Testing & Commissioning activities.
Support LRV testing and interfaces with signaling/train control, traction power, OCS, communicatIons and SCADA/OCC.
Review test procedures, commissioning plans and results;track defects, punch-list items and non-conformities.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, suppliers, operations and client teams; support troubleshooting, trial running, final acceptance and handover.
Previous experience with Siemens railway systems, equipment or technologies is highly preferred. Direct Light Rail/ Metro/ Tram T&C and dynamic vehicle testing experience are strongly valued.
-Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 working hours per day plus a 1-hour lunch break.
