The ADEF Team is hiring a Test Engineer that design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
Key Responsibilities of a Test Engineer:- Develop efficient test plug-ins using programming expertise to evaluate module performance, identify issues, and debug root causes.
- Utilize statistical tools for data analysis and technical presentations.
- Proactively identify manufacturing and design issues, recommending effective solutions.
- Demonstrate high motivation and strong interpersonal skills as a team-oriented individual.
Key Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related fields.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Strong background in electronics, circuit analysis, and IC test and measurement methods.
- Proficiency in development tools and programming languages such as C, Visual Basic, and C++.
- Detailed understanding of general test techniques.
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related and progressive experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in Electronics or a related field of study.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and learning sessions.
- Active participation in career development planning.
- Experience with test automation frameworks using tools such as NI LabWindows CVI, NI LabView, NI TestStand, Python, C#, and Keysight OpenTap.
- Familiarity with RF/Microwave and Mixed-Signal test equipment, including network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and phase noise analyzers.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $87,188 to $119,906.
