We're Hiring: Test Engineer 2 (TS/SCI w/ Poly Required)
Annapolis Junction, MD
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
Full-Time | On-site
$135,000 - $152,000 / year

We are seeking a Test Engineer 2 to join a software development team focused on building and maintaining integrated, feature-rich tools that support the modernization of visualization and presentation capabilities. These tools enable mission analysts to collaboratively access, contribute, and interact with critical data.

In this role, the Test Engineer will lead the product release process and is expected to make an immediate impact by enhancing automation and overseeing regression testing efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with established testing methodologies, automated service and UI testing, continuous integration pipelines, and release management. Additional responsibilities include creating test plans and procedures, documenting results, and developing specialized test code.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, and documentation
  • Lead regression testing, service/UI automation, and release processes
  • Implement testing improvements across CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement the evaluation plan using data gathered from testing activities
  • Plan and conduct performance data collection efforts
  • Analyze performance risks and contribute to test evaluation strategies
  • Support system readiness, data collection, and performance analysis
  • Assess operational and system performance requirements for testability and criticality to frame and prioritize T&E objectives and enable evaluation planning
  • Coordinate with systems engineering teams for evaluation planning
  • Prepare and present test reports, briefings, and documentation
  • Evaluate operational environments and mission priorities to guide scenario selection and ensure user participation in Test & Evaluation (T&E). Develop risk-informed performance assessments at both the program and event level, focusing on system and operational effectiveness and suitability. T&E activities include inspections, demonstrations, paper analyses, surveys, simulations, and live testing.
  • Analyze performance risk areas to focus T&E planning
  • Specify, validate, and adapt Modeling and Simulation for T&E use

  • Cloud environment familiarity

Required Qualifications:
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with active polygraph
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Science, or a related discipline (an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in test engineering roles on programs of similar scope and complexity

Location:
Work will be performed on-site at a contractor facility in Annapolis Junction, MD. Access to both low and high-side networks is required.
