Full Job Description
Territory Manager (CNS) - Long Island, NY

Field Based / Full Time / Permanent

This is an opportunity for an accomplished sales professional who thrives on building business, opening new accounts, and developing strong customer relationships within complex healthcare environments. You'll own your territory, develop strategic account plans, identify new opportunities, and partner with physicians and clinical teams to drive adoption and growth.

We're looking for someone who brings energy, grit, strong business acumen, and a hunter mentality - someone motivated by creating opportunities rather than simply managing an established book of business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to drive business growth and achieve sales objectives
  • Build relationships with neuro-oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and other key stakeholders across academic and community settings
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities while continuing to grow established accounts
  • Understand individual account dynamics, patient care models, and business needs to uncover opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally with Scientific Liaisons, Device Support Specialists, Reimbursement, Sales Operations, and other members of the US Business Team
  • Support physicians and clinical staff throughout the patient treatment journey, including reimbursement, access, and continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate account and activity information within CRM
  • Execute corporate and regional strategies while operating with a high degree of autonomy in the field

ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of successful field sales or account management experience, ideally within medical devices, oncology, complex healthcare technology, or another clinically focused market
  • Demonstrated ability to hunt for new business, open accounts, and grow a territory
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong consultative selling skills and business acumen
  • Experience independently developing and executing territory business plans
  • Ability to build credibility and long-term relationships with physicians, clinical teams, and other healthcare stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating with significant autonomy in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Resourceful, resilient, competitive, and motivated by building something rather than simply maintaining existing business
  • Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the Long Island territory (including Brooklyn / Queens)

These additional qualifications are preferred:
  • Medical device or other complex healthcare technology sales experience
  • Experience within oncology, neuro-oncology, radiation oncology, neurology, or another complex clinical specialty
  • Established healthcare relationships across Long Island
  • Experience selling into academic medical centers and large community-based practices
  • Formal consultative sales training and/or experience within an organization known for strong commercial sales development
  • Recognition for strong sales performance, such as President's Club, Circle of Excellence, top rankings, or similar achievement
  • Experience introducing a differentiated, disruptive, or market-creating technology
