Job Description

Must be Teradata Master 12-14 Certified:
Must be willing to work M-F local and Onsite
Must be a Senior Teradata Architect.
• Advance knowledge of Teradata, UNITY and /or Unified Data Architecture.
• System Performance tuning and capacity planning experience, including production and interpretation of PMCP Reports in order to determine causes of poor performing code
• SQL tuning and performance optimization, BTEQ, Shell Script knowledge.
• Expert knowledge of Teradata Database optimization techniques
• Experience with translating logical models to optimal physical models
• Experience advising developers and development teams from design through build phase
Excellent problem solving skills with demonstrated experience managing and resolving work requests and change requests

Responsible for customer presentations, system requirements definition, solution sizing, configuration, benchmark/proof-of-concept design & execution, project management, capacity planning analysis, system usage analysis, database design reviews, performance optimization, troubleshooting, critical system support, root cause analysis, and customer education.

Expertise in development and delivery of Professional Services Offers:
• Physical Design & Implementation, Performance Optimization. Data Mart Consolidation (TMA), Performance Data Collection & Reporting (PDCR), Capacity Planning, Security, Tactical Query Design
Contributions to Teradata Knowledge Management System include:
• SQL Scorecard, Benchmark Project Plan, CDS Calculator, Upgrade Test Planning, On-Line Archive Backup Time Estimator, Automated Data Validation Routines, Query Shaping for DBQL Analysis
