At PIMCO, we are seeking a dynamic Recruiter to join our Global Talent Acquisition team to execute full cycle recruitment for our Technology function. You'll drive proactive engagement with senior technology leaders to understand business needs, initiate strategic talent sourcing, and deliver exceptional service to internal clients by collaborating with HR colleagues. This position is based five days on-site in our New York office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own full cycle recruiting for a range of technical roles ranging from Technology, Quantitative Analytics and related technical functions, with primary ownership for the Global Technology function, across geographies and various seniority levels
- Advise senior stakeholders on the talent acquisition process including but not limited to market intelligence, sourcing strategies, search execution, answering candidates' questions and offer negotiation
- Identify and implement creative, impactful and cost-effective sourcing strategies to identify top talent
- Source, screen and assess candidates for open positions at all levels across Technology against open requisitions as well as opportunistically
- Drive recruiting activities at various levels; develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective candidates as well as business unit leaders and respective HR colleagues within PIMCO
- Develop and execute search strategy and workflow in collaboration with senior management for all open positions including direct sourcing and search firm engagement
- Partner with the Compensation team, HR Business Partner and hiring teams to formulate and deliver offers
- Provide direction and partner with Recruiting Associates regarding job postings, interview scheduling, interview feedback collection, onboarding activities, etc.
- Actively partner with the campus recruiting and EMEA talent acquisition teams to share best practices and provide a seamless service to internal clients
- Maintain the accuracy, quality and integrity of all recruiting information in PIMCO's ATS
- Share best practices and identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Partner with the broader Talent Acquisition function in continuing to evolve the implementation of AI into our processes
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience hiring technology professionals, including developers/engineers, project managers and business analysts; financial services experience preferred, and exposure to quantitative or analytics profiles a plus
- Must be client centric, highly collaborative, and possess a team-first attitude
- Process oriented, able to proactively track industry themes and tie to talent flows and search strategy
- Proactive in sourcing and assessing candidates, strong interviewing/assessment skills with a keen eye for identifying top talent and ability to influence and close candidates in highly competitive situations
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive impactful results
- Highly motivated and highly organized self-starter, with a proven ability to prioritize competing demands, adapt to changing business needs, navigate internal processes whilst engaging effectively with senior stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency with ATS (Workday preferred), recruiting tools (CRM) and AI / automation
- Bachelor's degree required
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 120,000.00 - $ 130,000.00
