Full Job Description
**This role is located in our Production facility in Norwood, MA, and will follow our Hybrid Work Schedule**

Pay Range: $112,000 - $130,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

An embedded techno-functional analyst for HMF's Commercial teams and the functional owner of the trade promotion and deductions platform from the IT side. The role gathers the requirement, designs the solution, and does the hands-on build. IT co-owns the trade platform; the settlement process belongs to Finance.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Trade promotion management: platform ownership and optimization
  • Act as functional owner of the TPM platform: system stability, usability, and fit to business process.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness, profitability, and potential cannibalization of promotional activity.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align on promotions and get the most from them.
  • Keep TPM data, hierarchies, and system security accurate.
  • Find system gaps, limits, and performance issues, and design workarounds.

Business analysis and solution design
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to understand pain points and future-state needs.
  • Turn business requirements into clear D365 designs, configurations, and process flows.
  • Do the hands-on build: D365 configuration, Power Platform, Power BI and SSRS report development, scripts.
  • Challenge requirements when needed to keep solutions scalable and supportable.

User enablement and governance
  • Provide functional support, training, and guidance to end users and super users.
  • Write and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and user guides.
  • Hold ERP governance, change management, and documentation standards.
  • Handle help-desk queries from the TPM user community.

Continuous improvement
  • Monitor system usage and performance; recommend improvements.
  • Support enhancements, upgrades, and new-feature adoption in D365 and the Power Platform.
  • Stay current on TPM platform capabilities and best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of techno-functional experience with D365 or a comparable ERP, including hands-on configuration and report development (Power BI or SSRS).
  • Ability to analyze promotion performance, spot trends, forecast results, and evaluate ROI.
  • Advanced Excel: pivot tables, complex formulas, modeling, and data manipulation.
  • Comfortable owning a problem end to end without much direction.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Hands-on time with a TPM platform (SAP TPM, Vistex, Adesso, Oracle Demantra, or similar) and exposure to trade or deductions processes in CPG; transferable TPM experience counts.
  • SQL familiarity.
  • Food manufacturing, CPG, or regulated manufacturing experience.
  • EDI familiarity.
