We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team in Rockville, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).
Job Summary: NTT DATA is seeking a highly motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager with strong Technical and Business Analyst skills to join our dynamic team. Job Duties: - Collaborate with federal managers and customers to define project scope, timelines, and roadmaps, incorporating AI opportunities that support mission outcomes.
- Lead teams through the full EPLC lifecycle, using AI to enhance requirements gathering, documentation quality, and compliance tracking.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to government stakeholders by identifying AI-enabled solutions to improve delivery efficiency, reporting, and decision-making.
- Develop program governance processes that integrate automation and AI tools to meet federal oversight, security, and documentation standards.
- Provide single-point accountability for contractual deliverables, using AI to streamline communication, status updates, and artifact management.
- Monitor and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, leveraging AI-based analysis to detect trends and improve response times.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support iterative delivery using AI for backlog refinement, user story drafting, and sprint planning insights.
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly status reports using AI to accelerate data compilation, narrative creation, and metric visualization.
- Lead technical planning sessions supporting cloud modernization, zero-trust alignment, and integration of AI-supported operational enhancements.
- Maintain required project artifacts-schedules, risk registers, compliance documentation-supported by AI automation for version control and consistency.
- Conduct root cause analyses and lessons-learned sessions using AI to identify patterns across workstreams and improve future practices.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, Hosting, Analytics, Security) to introduce AI-based efficiencies across testing, operations, and data workflows.
Basic Qualifications:- Master's Degree, One-and-one- half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program.
- Minimum 10 years of experience developing and implementing Project Management Plans.
- Minimum 6 years of project management experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading Agile .NET implementations, with a command of the underlying technologies and technical components of the project.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with complex software architectures and database structures, including both technical and business challenges, and ensure deliverables remain aligned with overall project objectives.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:- Demonstrate understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, and needs
- Experience implementing large and complex initiatives within a multi-vendor, matrixed organization
- Strong skills in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project)
- Strong grasp of project management and technology development lifecycle
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Previous Government work experience is preferred.
- Experience working onsite with government clients.
- Experience with Health Care IT Systems preferred.
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $97,391 - $162,319. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation.
