- Technical Design and Engineering Support: Review and interpret stakeholder requirements, specifications, and drawings. Work with design teams on structural analysis, pressure vessel design, fatigue life assessment, thermal analysis, and material selection for metal bellows and assemblies.
- Design for Manufacturability and Optimization: Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to apply Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) principles. Optimize designs for performance, quality, cost, and ease of production, incorporating feedback from prototyping and testing.
- Manufacturing Process Oversight: Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop and optimize production methods, including welding, assembly, and testing processes. Resolve manufacturing issues, implement process improvements, and ensure repeatability and reliability of precision components.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Identify technical risks and ensure compliance with stakeholder requirements. Support qualification testing, validation, and documentation for diverse applications.
- Customer and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the technical liaison with stakeholders, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving issues. Work closely with sales, quality, and supply chain teams.
