Full Job Description
Your Role

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to own and operate the core programs that enable Engineering to move fast, improve quality, and deliver consistently. This includes running our Managed Release Process, overseeing technical quality OKR (e.g. bugs, performance, and incident follow-ups), and driving horizontal project coordination across EPD.

You'll work closely with engineers to build operational muscle, drive issue resolution, and make sure our processes scale as we do. This is a highly technical, execution-focused role-ideal for someone with strong systems thinking, process orientation, and just enough engineering fluency to collaborate with our developers.

As we scale, velocity, reliability, and quality become increasingly interdependent. This role ensures we don't just build fast-we build with confidence. You'll be a key player in the infrastructure that supports Engineering success across the company.

You Will
  • Lead the Managed Release Process: Coordinate our monthly feature release program-tracking feature flags, aligning engineering launch timelines, and ensuring Product Marketing and Customer Enablement are prepared for customer-facing updates.
  • Feature Flag Hygiene: Drive process improvements for the lifecycle of feature flags (creation, usage, and cleanup).
  • Incident & Bug Management: Own follow-up processes for engineering incidents, top bugs, and associated corrective actions. Drive retrospectives, identify patterns, and ensure issues are consistently closed out.
  • Performance Regression Follow-up: Track regressions, escalate where needed, and coordinate owners to resolve issues promptly.
  • Cross-Team Engineering Dependencies: Understand enough about our architecture and workflows to help teams unblock and align on timing, ownership, and integration needs.
  • Vendor Oversight: Manage operational tasks related to select technical vendors, including usage forecasting, access management, renewals, and credit tracking.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years in Technical Program Management, Engineering Operations, Product Operations, or a similar role at a fast-paced technology company.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, continuous integration practices, incident management, and deployment/release management.
  • Familiarity with concepts like feature flags, incidents, and bug ticket lifecycles: you don't need to write code, but you should be fluent enough to follow the conversation.
  • Ability to drive clarity and accountability in cross-functional environments, including defining success metrics and reporting on them.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the curiosity to spot gaps and the grit to close them.
  • Familiarity with vendor management and usage forecasting.
  • Experience working across product infrastructure and application-level teams.
  • Familiarity with tools like Linear, Zendesk, Notion, Snowflake, and GitHub to manage workflows and document processes.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Cowork to automate routine workflows.

The salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
