About the RoleData is Adyen's key differentiator, but to unlock its full potential, we are executing a fundamental technical and cultural shift. We are accelerating toward a strong
Data Foundation model where every domain owns the data it produces, treats it as a product, and guarantees its quality at the source through enforceable data contracts.
As the
Technical Program Manager, you will be the operational engine driving our Data Foundations set-up. You will own the cross-functional execution framework required to establish robust data governance, support the rollout of self-service data infrastructure, drive organizational adoption, and systematically reduce technical debt across Adyen.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Execution at Pace: Take full ownership of the Data Foundation program, effectively unblocking teams so they can focus on building rather than navigating dependencies
- Bridge Gaps & Silos: Oversee and drive alignment across multiple solutions where you identify and manage dependencies that individual product teams might overlook
- Mitigate Risk: Ensure risks of the program are mitigated promptly and proactively to avoid impact of delays or incorrect technical decisions
- Cultural transformation and adoption: drive change management across the organization in the way we see, store and use data to ensure it fits our Data Strategy
- Technical Debt & Modernization: coordinate milestones for legacy systems deprecation, to ensure we reduce technical debt while focusing on driving the modernization of our Data Tech Stack
- Operational Artifacts: Establish and maintain standardized program health tools, including RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies), program dashboards, new blue-prints and cross-team roadmaps.
Who You Are- Core Technical Program Management Mastery: 5-7 years of experience leading complex, high-stakes technical programs or platform migrations in global, cross-product environments (preferably Tech).
- Data Fluency: Functional understanding of modern data design patterns and infrastructure, including Data Mesh, Data Contracts, lineage tracking, and metadata cataloging.
- Change Management & Communication: Strong ability to navigate across the organization, foster collaboration and alignment, and align product and engineering teams to adopt a "data as a product" mindset.
- Systems Thinker: Excellent capability to look across individual products, synthesize dependencies, trade-offs and ensure all is managed from one centralized roadmap
- Metrics-Driven Operator: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of establishing standardized telemetry, RAID logs, and program dashboards to monitor execution velocity and operational efficiency.
