Title:Technical Professional Leader - Civil
KBR is looking for a Civil Structural Engineer to make decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far-reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company. Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies. Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area.
Role will be a hybrid work schedule with office work in Newark, Delaware as required as well remote work options.Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- Work as part of a team to prepare construction quality documentation for civil engineering design projects.
- Function as a civil project lead.
- Provide design documents for facility site planning and development
- Prepare erosion and sediment control design and specifications
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:- Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years related experience, with average experience of 15+ years.
- Undergraduate degree required
- Experience with roadway design
- Experience in stormwater management
- Experience in railroad design a plus
- MicroStation
- AutoCAD
