As the Technical Ad Producer, you will act as the primary creative consultant and technical troubleshooter for our Enterprise partners, serving as the bridge between client brand objectives, internal advertising policies, and technical campaign execution. Reporting to the Director, Technical Ad Production, you will be the strategic escalation point for high-value clients, supporting the delivery of high-performing, policy-compliant creative assets. This is a high-impact, client-facing role within our in-house managed services vision, where you’ll partner with colleagues across Sales, Account Management, Ad Operations, and technical teams to drive end to end campaign success for the world’s most recognized brands.

We’d love to have you apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.

What you'll do:
  • Serve as the creative authority and escalation point for enterprise clients, translating brand objectives into effective digital ad strategies and assets.
  • Guide clients in developing high-impact ad layouts and creative executions that align with brand identity and campaign KPIs.
  • Clearly explain advertising policies, technical standards, and the rationale behind company guidelines to clients, ensuring both compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, account management, ad operations, product, and engineering teams to deliver seamless campaign execution and resolve creative challenges.
  • Apply deep knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and display ad analytics to drive measurable improvements in ad performance.
  • Proactively address and resolve creative friction by offering innovative, policy-compliant solutions that honor both client vision and company standards.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to leadership and internal teams to support continuous improvement in creative processes, policies, and client outcomes.
  • Develop and execute creative assets for Yelp Website campaigns and full-funnel programmatic channels—including Display, Video, CTV, Native, DOOH, and Audio—serving on platforms such as The Trade Desk.
  • Participate in the production, QA, and trafficking of creative assets—ensuring technical compatibility, adherence to specifications, and optimal performance—by working both autonomously and, when applicable, in collaboration with our creative partner Celtra.
What it takes to succeed:
  • 5+ years of experience in digital ad design, creative strategy, or art direction, with proven success in client-facing roles.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with direct experience managing enterprise-level relationships.
  • Deep understanding of creative elements that drive ad engagement and conversion, and experience using analytics to optimize performance.
  • Strong familiarity with ad serving mechanics, trafficking processes, asset specifications, and digital ad operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in creative and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Web Designer).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, operational, and business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and troubleshoot custom HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript ad creatives to ensure compatibility and optimal performance across platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement advanced tracking solutions, using coding expertise to support technical integrations.
  • Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to automate creative production workflows and QA processes.
  • Leverage coding skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues in ad serving, creative rendering, and data collection.
  • Experience articulating complex technical or policy concepts to non-technical audiences.
What you'll get:
  • Effective your first day: Full medical, vision, and dental
  • 15 days PTO (accrual begins on date of hire and increases with 2+ years of tenure thereafter), 12 paid holidays, plus one floating holiday
  • Up to 14 weeks of parental leave
  • Monthly wellness subsidy
  • Work from home reimbursement
  • Flexible spending account
