Full Job Description
Summary:

You are a thoughtful marketing operations leader who enjoys building scalable systems, developing high-performing teams, and turning complex marketing needs into clear, efficient execution. You’re energized by working at the intersection of campaign operations, marketing technology, data, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. You enjoy solving ambiguous problems, improving how teams work, and helping marketers deliver accurate, measurable campaigns that support business growth.

Marketing Operations plays an important role in bringing that mission to life by enabling lifecycle and revenue-driving marketing campaigns that are reliable, data-driven, and scalable. In this role, you’ll lead a team responsible for campaign enablement, marketing automation, QA, troubleshooting, MarTech operations, deliverability, and web operations. You’ll partner closely with Lifecycle Marketing, Marketing Technology, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Creative, and other cross-functional teams to ensure our marketing systems, workflows, and digital experiences support strong execution and measurable impact.

We’re looking for an experienced people leader with hands-on marketing automation expertise and strong operational judgment. You should be comfortable managing team planning over a three-month-plus horizon, prioritizing work based on business impact, coaching team members through complex operational and technical challenges, and coordinating work across partner teams. We’d love to have you apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes.

What you'll do:
  • Lead and develop a Marketing Operations team responsible for campaign enablement, marketing automation, QA, deliverability, troubleshooting, MarTech operations, workflow improvement, and select marketing web operations work.
  • Manage planning, prioritization, and execution across a three-month-plus horizon, ensuring the team’s campaign and operational backlog is clearly tied to business priorities, lifecycle goals, stakeholder needs, and measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign operations, including intake, scoping, sprint planning, requirements gathering, timeline management, QA readiness, launch coordination, post-launch issue resolution, and performance feedback loops.
  • Partner with Marketing Technology, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Lifecycle Marketing, Creative, and Campaign Operations to maintain scalable, reliable, and AI-enabled MarTech infrastructure, including requirements for automation, personalization, audience segmentation, data flows, integrations, reporting, and operational workflows.
  • Own platform health, deliverability, and issue resolution processes by staying ahead of changes in marketing platforms, privacy policies, device operating systems, AI-driven filtering, and broader industry best practices; lead root cause analysis and coordinate rapid resolution of platform, campaign, data, deliverability, or tracking issues.
  • Support marketing web operations as a part of the role, including coordination of landing page updates, CMS workflows, deployment readiness, tagging and tracking implementation, accessibility considerations, performance monitoring, launch QA, and troubleshooting for marketing-owned digital surfaces.
  • Drive continuous improvement through AI, automation, experimentation, and scalable workflows, identifying opportunities to reduce manual work, improve campaign quality, strengthen analytics, and increase team productivity while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and operational control.
What it takes to succeed:
  • You have several years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, marketing automation/technology, web operations, or a related function.
  • You have experience managing or formally leading team members, including coaching, prioritizing work, providing feedback, supporting development, and creating a positive, accountable team environment.
  • You are hands-on with marketing automation platforms such as Braze, SFMC, Marketo or similar systems, and understand campaign logic, audience segmentation, personalization, QA, deliverability, reporting, and data-driven campaign execution.
  • You are comfortable with MarTech infrastructure and technical operations, including automation, data flows, integrations, reporting requirements, platform troubleshooting, UAT coordination, and working with Product, Engineering, Analytics, or Marketing Technology partners.
  • You bring strong project management and communication skills, including requirements gathering, timeline management, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, escalation management, and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
  • You have practical familiarity with AI, automation, experimentation frameworks, or advanced analytics, and are excited to apply emerging technologies responsibly to improve campaign operations, channel performance, workflow efficiency, and team scalability.
  • Experience designing or rolling out AI-powered workflows, automation playbooks, campaign QA tools, intake automation, experimentation workflows, web QA processes, or reporting systems.
  • You have working knowledge of marketing web operations, such as CMS workflows, landing page QA, tracking implementation, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, conversion pixels, UTM governance, accessibility considerations, Core Web Vitals, or collaboration with technical teams on web releases.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SQL, structured data, campaign data models, APIs, integrations, or data pipelines.
  • Experience with enterprise CMS platforms or website management tools such as WordPress, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Webflow, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with front-end web concepts such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, redirects, metadata, page templates, or structured content.
  • Experience developing channel analytics frameworks, deliverability benchmarks, operational scorecards, web performance dashboards, or reporting that informs campaign optimization and prioritization.
What you'll get:
  • Effective your first day: Full medical, vision, and dental
  • 15 days PTO (accrual begins on date of hire and increases with 2+ years of tenure thereafter), 12 paid holidays, plus one floating holiday
  • Up to 14 weeks of parental leave
  • Monthly wellness subsidy
  • Work from home reimbursement
  • Flexible spending account
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Employee stock purchase plan
  • Compensation range for this position is $109,000 - $184,000 annually. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.
