NoJob Responsibilities:We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to sell into new accounts, utilizing a consultative sales approach. Your mission will be to close new projects in new customer accounts. The successful Regional Sales Manager will become expert in a variety of technology and business oriented value propositions, be able to use a consultative sales approach to align our value propositions with the customer and align offerings and resources to close new business and ensure success of each implementation.
You will be selling multi-million dollar solutions, to large enterprises, competing against competitors which are larger and more well known. Core Competencies include:
- Proven experience and ability to be the business driver and penetrate new accounts and meet with stakeholders (C level) within accounts selling large-scale collaboration solutions into the commercial marketplace.
- A year over year track record of consistent performance and accountability using multiple sales approaches and managing complex sales into large enterprises.
- Relationship management with focus on new opportunities, customer success, and satisfaction, resulting in reference able accounts and positive brand/company awareness.
- Ability to lead in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition.
- Must have a basic understanding of BPMS, SOA, B2B and EAI Technology and marketplace.
- Business solution selling skills and highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills.
- The ability to effectively matrix manage and influence across a large complex organization.
- Ability to build working relationships with professional services consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans.
Basic Qualfications Required:- Qualified candidates will have 5 ' 10 years prior experience selling software based solutions, specifically into targeted new name accounts with deal sizes that range from $150K - $1M+
- Demonstrable success in meeting and exceeding a $1.5M-$4M quota and have achieved premium sales "club" recognition
- An action and results-oriented approach which balance a "take charge" attitude with teamwork and collaboration.
- An ability to work with prospects to develop strong business solution cases coupled with solid closing skills.
- Experience in teaming with Systems Integrators is also required.
- The successful candidate's background will include having established and executed call plans, orchestrated account-planning sessions and effectively executed account strategies.\
- BA/BS degree and familiarity with internet technologies, web portal initiatives and integration platforms is required
