About this role:
The Talent Resources Manager is responsible for the delivery of HR policies, programs, and procedures with a focus on employee relations and additional responsibilities related to the overall employee experience and talent journey.
In this role you will:
Support the Bank's "People First" focus and rules of engagement-maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB "A Better Place to Be."
Lead the employee relations programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Advise and coach managers on the resolution of complex employee relations issues, including compliance and application of employment laws, regulations, and conflict resolution.
Conduct investigations into complex employee relations issues.
Consult and guide internal clients on HR issues (for example, conflict resolution, performance management, terminations, as well as other HR policies and procedures).
Support the Talent Resources Director in implementing talent management programs (for example, performance management, succession planning, and special projects).
Oversee and serve as the backup for facilitating onboarding and offboarding, including managing coordination with appropriate teams (for example, IT, HR operations) and assisting with exit interviews.
Recommend innovative approaches to policies and procedures to support continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations.
Must haves:
