DescriptionWhat we're looking for:The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with hiring managers throughout full-cycle recruitment to identify, attract, and hire qualified talent. This role provides market insights, supports talent acquisition initiatives, and fosters a positive candidate experience while aligning hiring efforts with organizational goals.
This role is a full-time (40 hour/ week) temporary position, beginning with a 3-6 month term subject to either renewal or FTE conversion based on business need.How You'll Drive Impact:- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions, leveraging industry knowledge and negotiation skills to source, attract, and hire qualified talent within budget.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and review job descriptions to support effective recruitment efforts.
- Manage job postings and ad allocations on social media sites, optimizing TA spend.
- Manage job requisitions and candidate workflows within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate records, timely status updates, and compliance throughout the recruitment process.
- Source and engage qualified candidates through professional networks, candidate databases, social media, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Evaluate applicants' qualifications, skills, and experience to identify candidates who best meet position requirements.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure viable alternatives are available throughout the hiring process.
- Present additional qualified candidates with varying backgrounds and qualifications to support hiring manager decision-making.
- Provide an efficient, high-touch candidate experience throughout the application, interview, and offer stages of the hiring process.
- Partner with hiring managers and candidates to maintain alignment, confirm mutual interest, and facilitate a successful hiring process.
- Collaborate with HR leadership and hiring managers on offers, providing compensation input and market insights to support competitive and aligned decisions.
- Facilitate the offer process by presenting verbal and written offers, guiding negotiations as appropriate, and communicating pre-employment requirements and start date information.
- Provide recruitment metrics, reporting, and real-time market insights to hiring managers regarding candidate availability, hiring progress, and market trends.
- Conduct and document reference, background, and licensure checks as required prior to the new hire's start date.
- Stay current on employment laws and ensure compliance with EEOC and other applicable requirements.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives that support broader HR team goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the success of the HR department.
What You'll Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 6+ years of talent acquisition experience, with 2+ years of internal recruiting experience within the medical device, biotechnology, or healthcare industry preferred.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools.
- Experience recruiting across technical, operations, clinical, and commercial functions, including management roles.
- Understanding of organizational structure, role requirements, compensation practices, and related HR processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with equally strong candidate assessment and evaluation abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.
