Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Leesburg, VA
Company: VB Spine

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads VB Spine's global recruiting function. This role develops scalable hiring strategies, leads employee and contract recruiters, and personally manages executive and other business-critical searches. The Talent Acquisition Manager also oversees search firm and staffing agency partnerships, as well as the internship program.

Working closely with business leaders and HR Business Partners, this person will balance hands-on recruiting with team leadership. The goal is to deliver a consistent, compliant, and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers while improving recruiting quality and speed.

WhatYou'll Do:

  • Lead and develop employee and contract recruiters, setting priorities and allocating resources based on business needs.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to turn workforce plans into recruiting strategies, sourcing plans, and hiring priorities.
  • Personally lead executive and business-critical searches, from market mapping and passive candidate outreach through assessment and offer negotiation.
  • Advise hiring managers on role requirements, candidate profiles, market conditions, compensation considerations, and selection decisions.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, candidate communication, offers, and hiring handoffs.
  • Track open roles, pipeline health, requisition aging, recruiting risks, and team capacity; recommend actions based on the data.
  • Improve recruiting processes, tools, metrics, and service standards to strengthen quality, efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder experience.
  • Manage third-party search firms, staffing agencies, and recruiting vendors, including performance, contracts, spend, and service expectations.
  • Lead the internship program and support campus recruiting, early-career hiring, and internal mobility.
  • Ensure recruiting practices are job-related, equitable, confidential, and compliant with company policies and applicable requirements.
  • Protect confidential candidate, employee, compensation, and business information.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field required
  • Professional certification in human resources or talent acquisition is preferred

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance taken into account. The typical pay range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits.

VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
