TACOM (SIAD): Direct Line Supervisor (Contingency)Program Summary
The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) sustains the Army’s mission to develop, acquire, field, and sustain ground combat, tactical, and support systems throughout their lifecycle. The program focuses on ensuring operational readiness, reliability, and safety of automotive and ground support equipment critical to Army operations.
Under this contract, supervisory personnel provide first-line leadership and operational oversight for maintenance and sustainment teams, ensuring work is performed in accordance with Army Technical Manuals (TMs), safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual performance metrics.
Job Summary
The Direct Line Supervisor serves as the first-line leader responsible for supervising assigned personnel engaged in automotive maintenance, sustainment, and related operational tasks in support of TACOM‑managed systems. This role ensures safe, efficient, and complaint execution of daily work activities while maintaining workforce productivity and mission readiness. The supervisor will coordinate with maintenance leads, quality personnel, and program management to ensure optimal work performance. The position plays a critical role in driving readiness goals by minimizing downtime and rework.

The salary range for this position is $134,800 - $202,200. Compensation offered will depend on qualifications, experience, work location, and business considerations. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. Additional compensation and benefits may be available based on role eligibility.
Additional Information
This position will be a part of a physical work environment that requires standing, walking, and lifting. There is potential exposure to machinery, tools, fuels, oils, and outdoor conditions. Employees may also be required to work shifts, overtime, or weekend support based on mission needs.
