Full Job Description
SUMMARY: The Strategic Accounts Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and strategic positioning for the Systems Technology Group. This position is responsible for developing strategic client relationships, originating new business opportunities, and securing early engagement in both private and public sector projects. This role requires a relationship-driven professional who can influence project scope, design, and budget early in the project lifecycle while aligning internal teams to successfully convert opportunities into revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of new opportunities aligned with strategic growth objectives
  • Own account growth strategy and expand multi-scope opportunities across key clients
  • Engage early in the project lifecycle (preconstruction/design phase) to influence scope, design, and budget
  • Lead pursuit strategy, positioning, and partner alignment for targeted opportunities
  • Collaborate with estimating teams to align scope definition and pricing strategy
  • Support deal closing efforts and contract negotiations
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the full client lifecycle, from early engagement to post-award follow-up
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with developers, consultants, manufacturers, and integration partners
  • Maintain ongoing client engagement following project award to ensure satisfaction and identify future opportunities
  • Track, manage, and report on pipeline activity, opportunity status, and relationship coverage

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION:
  • 5+ years of business-to-business sales, account management, or business development experience
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and generate negotiated or strategically positioned work in private and public sector environments
  • Experience working with owners, developers, and consultants in a relationship-driven sales model
  • Strong understanding of AV, physical security and structured cabling systems
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a qualified opportunity pipeline
  • Experience influencing projects during early design or preconstruction phase

The starting salary for this opportunity range is listed. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility based on company and individual performance, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
