Systems Integration Engineer

The Opportunity:

Designs, develops and implements solutions for software integration projects. Coordinates applications across functions or between organizations. Ensures the integration of projects meet the requirements of the organization. Applies advanced advisory skills or extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience navigating complex customer environments, including receiving and implementing requirements

• 2+ years of experience with API integrations, including REST, webhooks, or authentication flows

• 2+ years of experience implementing and troubleshooting authentication or authorization mechanisms, including OAuth2, SAML, or OpenID Connect

• 2+ years of experience building prototype applications using languages such as Python or Go

• 1+ years of experience implementing and working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

• Experience working with a major cloud provider in a production environment

• Ability to troubleshoot across distributed systems, including logs, metrics, and debugging integration issues

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience working in a customer-facing engineering role such as in a Solutions Engineer or Implementation Engineer role

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, and Pulumi

• Experience with identity providers such as Okta, Auth0, or Azure AD

• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems, including Kafka, SNS and SQS, or publish-subscribe (Pub/Sub)

• Experience with networking fundamentals, including DNS, TLS, load balancing, and firewalls

• Knowledge of wireless communications especially 5G Wireless and O-RAN systems

• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual27s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen27s total compensation package for employees.
