Qualifications

• 3+ years of strong Kubernetes experience, preferably with Rancher/RKE/K3S
• Experience managing large OpenSearch installations
• Proficient in troubleshooting distributed applications
• Basic knowledge of NiFi administration
• Familiarity with Salt for configuration management
• Experience creating and maintaining Helm charts
• Basic understanding of git operations
• Experience with Influx, Prometheus, and Grafana monitoring tools
• Knowledge of Kafka for distributed event processing
• Experience with Ceph storage platform

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance the integration of various applications within the team
• Install and maintain Kubernetes environments using best practices
• Manage OpenSearch installations to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot issues within distributed applications to maintain system reliability
• Administer basic functionalities of NiFi for workflow automation
• Implement configuration management solutions using Salt
• Develop Helm charts to simplify application deployment in Kubernetes
