This Systems Integration Engineer will execute on the AN/SQQ-89 program at our Manassas, Virginia, location. This engineer will join a small, agile team that maintains, expands, and supports the software pipeline for a large complex system of subsystems. This role will include software configuration and development work with various tools in the project's Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tool chain.
Tasks May Include:
- Integrate, support, and debug software deliveries in collaboration with developers
- Execute formal certification processes for software builds
- Design and develop new features in the CI/CD tool chain
- Troubleshoot and Support CI/CD build Pipelines
- Develop build automation infrastructure
- Develop and maintain automated tools
- Attend and participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and technical demos.
- Provide day-to-day support for the broader team on tool usage, process guidance, and pipeline health.
- Working with system administrators, networking team, tools team, security team, and/or program developers to investigate and fix issues.
- Shared team responsibilities to watch the health of compile machines, etc.
Basic Qualifications-2+ years of directly related experience.
-Basic Linux/Unix command line experience
-Knowledgeable with software programming languages (i.e., Python, C++, Java).
-Experience with software compilation utilities and version control (i.e., GIT, GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Gradle)
-A detailed-oriented self-starter with strong debug skills.
-Experience documenting complicated processes and procedures.
-Demonstrated ability to work independently through resolution of challenging problems.
-Demonstrated experience and success collaborating in a team environment.
-Ability to obtain a Secret-level clearance
-Ability to attend meetings to represent CI/CD.
Desired SkillsExperience working with virtual machines and containers (i.e., OpenStack, KVM, Virt-Manager, Podman, Docker, Kubernetes)
-Experience with compiling, installing, running, and testing software
-Help desk-type of experience; tracking problems and responding in a quick manner if it is high priority
-Automation experience
-CI/CD experience
-Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible
-Familiarity with Static Code Analysis (SCA) and Software Bill of Materials (SBOMs)
-Familiarity with scripting languages (i.e., bash, csh, and ksh)
-Problem/issue reporting experience (i.e. JIRA, GitLab)
-Experience in Agile process and system engineering of large, complex systems
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
