Full Job Description
We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to lead the bring-up, validation, and triage of our custom hand.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and technician teams to plan and execute first article bring-ups
Build and oversee the execution of benchtop validation
Plan and execute integration into the full robot stack and subsequent on-robot validation
Develop and maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, test plans, and validation results
Perpetually respond to on-robot failures, including coordinating failure analysis and driving solutions from conception to working on robot
Drive diagnostics needs to speed up root-cause analysis and on-robot health checks
Requirements:
Relevant experience integrating custom mechatronic systems for real products
Depth in one or more of the following areas: electrical, firmware, controls, or mechanical
Excellent communication and planning skills
Hands-on, highly technical approach to integration
Bonus Qualifications:
Prior experience working robotic manipulators
Prior experience working with humanoids
Prior leadership experience
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $170,000 - $250,000 annually.
