Full Job Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
This is a position for a Systems Engineer Production Lead on the Training System Network Infrastructure product line.
As Systems Engineering Production Lead on this team, you will:
Lead other Systems Engineers and/or sub-discipline to in the Production process, coordinate with Operations Manufacturing and align Installation of complex systems Training systems.
Support the Deployment Training System Network Infrastructure team with scheduling conflicts and personnel.
Work with a team of system engineers and/or interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and design the system functional, logical, and behavioral architecture using GEN BOE, and DOORS NEXT; ensuring flow-down to lower-level specifications, and compliance throughout the design.
Be a member of Integrated Product Team responsible for the scope and associated cost and schedule. Interface with cross functional teams and customer on regular basis to effectively execute the scope.
Have the ability to travel domestically and internationally (25% travel)
This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 5 or more years of related experience
Experience with systems integration, and test
Experience applying System Engineering processes in an Agile environment.
Experience with Control Account Management
Prior engagement experiences requiring communication of technical concepts to external stakeholders
Desired Skills
Experience with Production / Deployment processes
Experience with Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Shipping processes
Experience in GEN BOE
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
