Role Description:Seeking a motivated Senior Systems Engineer to support the exciting Target Discovery & Tradecraft. The engineer will work closely with stakeholders to capture requirements, aid in structured planning, gather and synthesize use cases, translate requirements into actionable roadmaps, and facilitate new data streams to support intelligence analysis and discovery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Provide hands-on Architecture, Systems Integration and systems administration in support of JCMA activities.
- Integrate RF communication systems to enable the monitoring for COMSEC vulnerabilities.
- Work closely with mission operators and developers to provide innovative solutions to difficult problems.
- Perform a variety of systems engineering tasks centered on technical problem solving, requirements specification, process development, risk analysis, and solutions design to advance cybersecurity mission success.
- Assist with the installation of RF equipment, servers, and networking equipment to include managing data center requirements
- Support data path engineering efforts.
- Identify new and existing products, technologies, and/or architectures to solve design, development, and operational problems.
- Some travel within the United States will be required to support equipment delivery and installation requirements.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:- Doctoral degree and no experience; Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience; Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience or a High School diploma/GED plus 9 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
- Cybersecurity experience with Jira and Confluence, strong interpersonal skills, and experience with corporate data flows
Pay Rate:In compliance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work law, the annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. This range represents the base pay for this role and is provided in accordance with Maryland's requirements to disclose compensation in job postings. Please note that actual compensation may vary based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market conditions. In addition to base salary, candidates hired into this position may be eligible for a hiring bonus of $10,000.00, subject to applicable contingencies and Navstar policy.
