The Work:CommandIQ® is seeking a systems engineer to join one of our agile development teams. In this role, you will:
- Decompose customer/stakeholder needs into higher-level roadmap features
- Document system requirements
- Create/refine MBSE models depicting system architecture and system activity/sequence diagrams
- Perform peer reviews for fellow systems engineers to review SE artifacts
- Participate in technical discussions to refine system requirements and decompose use cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to ensure requirements and customer needs are being met by CommandIQ® technical solutions
For this role specifically, candidates who are local to Colorado Springs, CO or King of Prussia, PA are preferred. Strong candidates who exceptionally match the roles and responsibilities will be considered for a fully-remote work schedule. The specific weekly work schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Basic Qualifications- Experience in MBSE (Cameo, Rhapsody)
- Experience with Requirements Definition and Documentation (DOORS, Jama)
- Experience with Use Case and Conops definition
- Strong Familiarity with Systems Engineering V-Diagram Activities
- 1+ years of relevant work experience or Advanced Degree in Systems Engineering
Desired Skills- Experience participating in requirements elicitation activities
- Experience participating in Verification and Validation Activities
- Experience defining Data Models
- Experience in Agile Methodologies & Tools
- Previous IRAD Experience
- Active Secret Clearance
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00
