Network/Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network/Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure that supports our manufacturing operations. What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain network and server infrastructure supporting manufacturing automation systems and laboratory operations.
- Lead infrastructure growth projects, upgrades, and network modernization initiatives.
- Configure and maintain LAN environments, including routers, switches, and VLANs.
- Troubleshoot network performance issues.
- Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Manage virtualization platforms and associated storage infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement cybersecurity best practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical systems outside normal business hours.
What we are looking for
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- 5+ years of experience supporting infrastructure within a biotech, manufacturing, or regulated environment.
- Experience designing, integrating, testing, and maintaining complex systems.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, networking, virtualization, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VLANs, and access controls.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), industrial control systems such as Emerson DeltaV, PowerShell scripting, backup and recovery solutions, or relevant industry certifications is preferred.
