Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of systems engineering experience, or a Bachelor's with 2 years of experience, or a Master's/PhD in a qualified engineering field.
  • Active Top Secret SCI Clearance with appropriate polygraph is required.
  • Experience in program management is desired to contribute to high-level presentations and documentation.
  • A solid understanding of software development cycles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project for scheduling and management tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project.
  • Manage and oversee configuration management for software development processes.
  • Prepare high-level presentations and documentations for stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Conduct system engineering activities in compliance with standards.

Full Job Description
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

Mission: Developing and maintaining a Microsoft Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and configuration management for software development.

Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI with appropriate polygraph.

Certifications: None.

Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).
    OR
    A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.
    OR
    A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
    OR
    A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Desired skills/background in program management to help with high-level presentations, documentation, and operations.
